Across the University of New Mexico’s Albuquerque campus, public art weaves together the creativity, history, and identity of the region.
Mapping the outdoor public art at UNM offered a way to connect two things I love:
- walking
- exploring scenic and historic places
What began as a casual curiosity became a small but rewarding mapping project that revealed how much visual storytelling lives in the everyday corners of campus. Art can activate the imagination and pique curiosity; this project felt like a fun treasure hunt.
